The Middle Class

Look at the middle class looking at each other asking for permission to speak about a live-streamed genocide

Look at the middle class stepping above knocked out passengers on public transport

Look at them looking and not seeing the ones sleeping on the streets

Look at them transforming into spectators. Look at them sleepwalking. 

As long as there's something to nibble on, there's something to watch.

Look at them living for a "Like", liking for a living. 

Look at them detached from actions, hear their voice: it's one. 

There is no way a world full of middle class lives on 

To start with, It wouldn't really be alive.

Alive is close to nature

Where blowing winds keep one alert and agile.

Middle class a sign of a healthy society? 

At least in one aspect, it's the exact opposite.
